Translating pc jargon from Dutch, so bear with me here:

i can't seem to connect my PS3 bluetooth mic to my laptop. I won't allow me to turn on the option to let bluetooth devices 'find' my computer, giving me an error message when i try to tick the option in the settings.

Also, bluetooth is available in my configuration screen, but doesn't appear in my device management list.

my model is a medion p7612.

Any ideas?

I see no bluetooth adapter listed on the website for that laptop.  If you do have Bluetooth it should list near the top of Device Manger(Press Windows Key + R, type "devmgmt.msc" and press return to get there), under the category "Bluetooth Radios" so long as it has drivers installed.  Bluetooth radios are typically(always?) USB devices so you could download this and see if it's listed there.

You should have posted the error message along with what version of Windows you are running.

A lot of computers will still have a bluetooth setting in the control panel without having bluetooth hardware present. You can buy a small usb adapter that can support multiple bluetooth devices connecting to your computer for less than $20 in the US.

If you used to have a bluetooth in the computer than the device is probably no longer working.

No bluetooth radios in the list, so i guess it's not in there.

thanks for the help! I'll look into the option of a small usb adapter.
