My win 7 doesnt just save a restore point of the system like its supposed to. It only has two settings. Use all of the HDD, or use 30% and let windows manage. It was using 540 gigs of the available 560 so I changed it to only save system files, most recent copy, etc. But its stil uses 540 gigs and copies ALL of C: drive! Theres no other options. I have no idea how to correct the problem.
I just want it to use a few gigs, maybe even up to 100, to set a system restore of the most recent copy of system files. Not the whole drive and not 540 gigs! Any ideas?

Listen up guys! A lot of people are overdue so if you're one of them and suddenly find out that you're kicked from the server for a reserve slot, that's a signal to you that you should reup so you can be added back into the list.

This is also to make sure to get everyone who hasn't already paid through the storefront instead of our old system we had in place before. I bought these headphones last October, they sound phenomenal but I don't find them very comfortable after a few hours. When I play games or listen to music I need something I can wear for a long time and these don't sit on my head very comfortably. If they were slightly smaller they would be great, but the foam headphone pad sits on the top part of my ear and becomes uncomfortable. I think my head is too small... ANYWAY

I used them regularly but they are still in great condition. If you're interested I can take pictures. I might do that anyway.

I'm usually the last to load in, but I can only assume at this point it's either or could be both (Steam/windows update) that's making connection to server very slow. It only happens when there is a map or campaign change. By the time I do get in, the team is usually half way through the map.

This has only been happening for the past week.

Any suggestions?

Computer Problem Speculation

Hey folks,

I have a frankenstein computer I built that has been running pretty well for 6 months, but now won't power on. Here's the story.

I installed a new Sandisk 64gb SSD about 3 weeks ago. After about a week, the computer randomly completely powered off while in use (web browsing). Now the computer isn't booting anymore. When I power the computer on, the side, top, and front chassis fans and all HDDS and SSDs and the GPU powers on. However, the rear chassis fan (which is the only one plugged into the mobo), the cpu fan (which is plugged into the mobo), and I'm guessing the cpu is receiving no power.

Any ideas on which component is shot and how I can test things?

Computer Problem Speculation Part 2: The Legend Continues

Works great too.  Quiet.  Wiring is super clean now.  No random computer power offs (yet), but the story continues...

So the Sandisk 64gb SSD I installed is still acting funky.  I fresh installed Windows 7 on it; however, when the SSD is put as priority #1 in my BIOS, the system gives me a "Boot Disk Failure; Insert System Disk" message.

However, if I put the SSD as priority #2 with my old HDD with windows 7 ahead of it as priority #1, I get the option to select one of the two iterations of Windows 7 when I boot the computer up.  This actually allows me to boot up using the SSD's Windows 7 iteration.

So is this a problem with the SSD itself or is something up with my BIOS settings?  I have like 4 days left to swap the SSD from Micro Center, so any input is appreciated.
